Our ultimate Christmas Workshop is here!
In this workshop, chef Priyasha, founder, The Cinnamon Kitchen, will be teaching you her signature Christmas Cake and her signature crisp ginger cookies.
You will learn through an elaborate step by step process to make all the elements that will come together to make this truly special Christmas Cake. It was launched as an experiment last as a small batch and sold out within minutes!
This cake is made using alcohol soaked fruits and nuts (non alcoholic version will also be covered), has a dense and moist sponge made using millets, a centre of orange marmalade and is topped with housemade whiskey chocolate ganache.
We will be learning all these recipes from scratch!
The recipes covered are:
Fruit and Nut Soak
Chef will be teaching you how to soak fruits and nuts in alcohol. The proportions of fruits and nuts, alcohol and spice combinations will be covered.
We will also be covering a non alcoholic version for the same.
Christmas Cake Sponge
Chef’s own invention- her christmas cake sponge is like none other! It is rich and dark and moist and made using a combination of millets. The millets add a very beautiful nutty texture to the sponge that makes it taste superior to any refined flour based sponges.
Orange Marmalade
You will be learning to make your own refined sugar free orange marmalade from scratch!
Whiskey Chocolate Ganache
Our Christmas cake is BOOZY to warm you up! Chef will also be sharing a non alcoholic chocolate ganache recipe
Cake Assembly and Decor
Ginger Cookies
An absolute classic when it comes to curating a christmas menu for your clients or family, chef’s ginger cookies have been on the menu since 2019!
You will be learning her ginger cookie recipe and she will also be covering ideas on how to create flavour and decor variations for these festive cookies!
As usual, all the recipes taught are vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free.
