Vegans and those with lactose intolerance usually miss out and crave for on one dessert the most- A classic New York Cheesecake.
In this workshop, chef Priyasha, founder, The Cinnamon Kitchen, will be teaching you how to make a classic New York Cheesecake which is not just vegan but also gluten free and soy free. A keto version of the recipe will be covered as well.
This cheesecake is made using fermentation process like dairy cheese, no shortcuts or flavour fixes, so that it tastes like the real deal.
This cheesecake is baked, not frozen, so it is stable in room temperature and can be transported easily.
Recipes covered:
Graham Cracker Crust (regular and keto)
We will be making vegan, gluten free, refined sugar free graham crackers from scratch and using them to make our graham cracker crust. Chef will also cover a keto version of this recipe.
Cheesecake filling
We will be making our own cream cheese from scratch and using it to prepare our vegan cheesecake. Chef will also cover a keto version of this recipe.
Blueberry and Cherry compote
Blueberry compote is the most classic accompaniment with a cheesecake. Chef will be demonstrating a blueberry compote and a keto version of this recipe will also be covered. Any and all berry compotes can be made using the same base technique.
Mango Coulis
A seasonal mango coulis recipe will be demonstrated. A keto version of this recipe will also be covered.
